What Happens if the Wrong Vendor is Dispatched?

The Vendoroo Guarantee is our commitment to protect you from the costs of incorrect vendor assignments caused by our system.

What’s Covered

If VenRoo dispatches the wrong type of vendor for the job, we’ll cover:

  • Trip fees from the misassigned vendor
  • The price difference between what was paid and what should have been paid

Example: A plumber is sent for a clogged toilet, but a handyman could’ve resolved it for less. Vendoroo will reimburse the difference in cost.

What’s Not Covered

The guarantee does not cover:

  • Work performed incorrectly by the right vendor
  • Misdiagnosis or overbilling by the vendor after proper dispatch
  • Damage caused during or after service
  • Change orders or expanded scope once on-site

Example: If a plumber replaces a toilet when they should’ve just replaced a valve, that’s not covered. That’s a vendor error—not an assignment error.

Key Principle

If Vendoroo sends the wrong person, we’ll make it right.

But if the right vendor makes a mistake, that's outside the scope of the guarantee.

How to Claim

  • Reach out to your Account Manager and explain the situation
  • Include the work order number, vendor name, and what should’ve happened
  • Our team will review and confirm eligibility
